NOTE: for application to work you should have Java (JRE) version 1.6 or above installed; on most PCs it’s already installed, otherwise you can download it for free from the following page (installation file size — about 15 Mb): http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp - installation will take not more than a minute.
There’re several different distributions available for download:
- “mega-distr” (recommended!) - contains almost all of currently existing addons (extensions + tools + data transfer protocols support + quite solid set of skins and icons)
- “standard-distr” - contains only common addons + one skin and icon set
- “core-distr” - only core and launcher, addons must be installed manually
In any case, it’s very easy to remove unneeded addons as well as to install new ones (right within application!).
After downloading, archive should be extracted in any directory, which will, actually, become an application’s working directory (workspace). Application does not need to be installed, to start it you just have to run bias.jar file (double click or run “java -jar bias.jar” from console in application’s working directory).
